Giving 1 star because I cannot leave less. I will not go into details on how I have since talked to 3 other professionals that totally disagree with everything that Andreas had to say, which was quite brief, actually. I had a total of 2 (two) sessions with him and thankfully no more, because it would have been a waste of money for the state. There were positives to the process at Vestegnsklinikken v. psykiater Andreas Hoff: - Short waiting times. I managed to schedule an appointment in around 6 months, which is great for the current waiting times with a henvisning. - All my consultations were online, which proved quite convenient when travelling for work and living across the country. - Alright pre-interview - I feel like I need to mention that I had no issues with personnel and other health professionals that work for/with Andreas. My positive expeirences stop here: Negatives: - Barely talked to Andreas for more than 60 min. in total across all sessions. This made me feel like he never took me seriously. - Got recommended a book and advice that I have to figure stuff out myself and "how bad medication is". Was never offered any techniques on working with the struggles I had. - He asked questions (from which they were not many) that I had answered multiple times before both in my journal but also in the pre-interview. - Made me do a test that he "didn't know much about" but used to describe my symptoms as "standard" and consider our conversation done. - All appointments felt like having a conversation with a random person, rather than a health professional. Going on tangents that are irrelevant and discussing cases I could not relate to. If you reached this point, I think it's obvious that I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND! AVOID! Consider the waiting time at other places and read the ALL reviews first (as there are some good ones) before letting them take your case. I cannot say that I have been treated differently due to taking the sessions online or because of a language barrier, so based on the feedback I assume this is the standard practice at SPAH.
